Light it up!
Candles can be super expensive. And when you’re most likely going to burn the whole lot at one single party, you may as well do something impactful on the cheap!
We love this little DIY because it is resourceful and is a serious penny-saver. Let’s do it!
What you’ll need…
- Cheap candles
- Painters tape
- Gold or silver spray paint
How to…
- Decide on a design or pattern for the candles. Create a zigzags, round or straight lines, or crisscross lines of tape randomly.
- Use strips of tape to create the lines around the candles and also around the top of the candle to protect it from the spray paint. Otherwise, you might get a shock when you go to light the candle later!! 😉
- Spray the candles, covering them evenly. This is probably a job for outdoors or somewhere that is very well ventilated.
- The paint will take a couple of hours to dry. Once it is dry, carefully remove the lengths of tape.
