Big Brew Party!
We’re thinking this pub party is a perfect idea for the hubby’s 40th or 50th birthday. Let’s face it, its not always easy coming up with a party idea for the guys. Usually it just needs to include beer and good hearty food. So when we found this little gem, we thought “unreal – everything a guy loves at his own house!”
Couple of tips to bring this one to life:
- Rent bar tables and stools from a local rental centre and set them up in the party space. Cover the tables with black linens, topped with empty beer cartons and peanuts for a true pub feel.
- Bottles of imported beer, bottle caps and beer-themed photographs can take center stage in the decorating process.
- Pub food is a must for this party… der! Think loaded baked potato soup, shrimp cocktail, honey glazed chicken wings, cheeseburger sliders, bruschetta, black bean salsa, pretzels and peanuts and of course, schnitty or parma.
- Birthday cake in the shape of your hubbys favourite brew, or
- Hire a Foosball table, buy a dart board or hire a jukebox are all awesome ways to keep people entertained!
