A Google Reasons to Party.
A party recap from your Chief Party Dude, Dean.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the Google’s exclusive annual summer party. The theme was Safari and all I was told before the event was that the location was a secret and we were to meet outside Google’s office in Pyrmont to be taken to the party location. Sure enough I arrived and a boat came and took us to Tarango Zoo which was the secret location. It was a safari party so I dressed in an inflatable elephant costume. It was a big hit and people seemed to like playing with my trunk and tail as they walked past. It was a real conversation starter and I got to meet lots of interesting people as a result. I was lucky enough to meet the director of Google Australia which was cool.
Moral of the story is, it pays to be “over the top” with your costume…
I noticed lots of products we stock from Safari hats, to animal masks, inflatable palm tree coolers, and even our inflatable monkey.
The band was excellent pumping out great covers till 10pm when the party finished and we all headed back to the ivy pool bar for the after party. I was allowed in believe it or not with my inflatable elephant which was an interesting sight to be seen at the ivy pool. All up it was an amazing night and google really did put on a good show.
