Chalk it up!
These chalk pops are so seriously cool we cannot even deal. Super easy to make and perfect for the kids, pop these ones on your to do list – STAT!
Although these would be a fun DIY at a kids party, they’re also just a nice weekend craft project. Keeps the kids out of the house for a little bit too 😉
What you’ll need…
- Plaster
- Neon paint
- Silicone mold
- Paddle pop sticks
- Plastic cups
- Plastic spoons
- Cole water
- Scissors
- Measuring cup
How to…
- Cut your paddle pop sticks in half
- Decide how many colours you’d like to make and set aside 1 cup for each colour, filling about 1/3 of the way with cold water
3. Mix about 2 tablespoons of paint into the plastic cups and stir through.
(How good do they look?!)
4. Mix in 2/3 of a cup of plaster, and stir through.
5. Keep stirring until smooth, but dont worry too much if there is a few clumps. Carefully pour into the silicone mounds and allow to set for a few minutes. Once the mixture begins to set, you can pop in the paddle pop sticks.
