How to…

  1. With steady hands, use the handsaw to cut off your dinosaur’s head just above the shoulders.
  2. Lightly rub the surface on the bottom and the top of the plate with sandpaper where you will be adhering the dinosaur.
  3. Apply your adhesive to the body and plate. When ready, attach the plate to the body.
  4. Once the body and plate has dried, prepare the dinosaur’s head and attach to the plate. Afterwards you can add some touch ups.
  5. After 24 hours, everything should be completely dried which means you can spray paint from all angles. You may need to repeat this process a couple of times.
  6. Once your dinosaur is dry, line with a circle of parchment paper cutting a hole out of the middle for the head and trimming to fit.

For food safety, its best to ensure you use the parchment paper to ensure your food doesn’t come into contact with the spray paint and adhesive.
