Are you looking for some ideas for Halloween decorating?  Here’s a few we’ve put together to get you inspired!

Here’s a table decorating idea with a quirky twist!  Plastic eyeballs sitting in a cauldron. We used florist’s foam and metallic purple shred to fill the cauldron so the eyeballs sit high in the cauldron.

Another way to make your table settings interesting is to include smaller Halloween decorations and imagery.  Here’s a mini plastic tombstone sitting on a decorated glass plate with purple accents, combined with a purple sequin table runner for a stylish look.  In the background is a Halloween image in a black wooden photo frame.

To make your Halloween feast a memorable one we think the tableware from the Midnight Dreary range teamed with plain plastic tableware in purple is a good match – check out the modern range of square plastic disposable plates and bowls now available too.  These are shown here displayed in a black wicker basket with black feather boa and purple feather boa.

And to drink a toast with the poison of your choice the Skeleton Hand Champagne flutes are not only fun but as they are made from plastic they are more likely to stand up to the task during your evening of high spirits!

Another idea is to grab some old wine or soft drink bottles and fill them with coloured liquids (sports drinks or lemonade with a drop or two of food colouring will do the trick) then add some spooky bottle labels – give your guests a choice of poisons!

Given that Halloween is somewhat gothic we think using wicker and wrought iron are great ways to present and display Halloween decorations.  Displayed here on a round wrought iron platter are small skulls served up with decorative moss.  You could achieve a similar look by using black plastic platters instead.

And what Halloween would be complete without a banner stating the fact?  Here are some ghost cutouts which we attached to purple glitter scrapbook paper which are ready to be strung together.  We cut squares and added lettering for the words “Spooky” and “Boo” with the ghosts as separators for the words.  If you’d prefer a ceiling decoration these ghost cutouts could be attached to the ends of purple twirly whirlys and combined with ceiling balloons.

He’s a way to spice up Halloween treat boxes or noodle boxes so trick or treaters will leave in awe and not egg your house!  Shown here are black noodle boxes & white noodle boxes teamed with Halloween themed cutouts.

And of course you can’t give them out empty so make sure you check out our huge range of confectionery which includes Halloween themed sweets and treats.  Be prepared for when they come a knockin’!

Here’s a fun project that we think is easy for the kids to help with!  This wreath is made from foam (stocked at most craft stores), purple feather boa and our creatures of the night peeping out of the wreath are plastic eyeballs.  Simply attach the components using hot glue.  Being Halloween we suggest you supervise the kids with this project as you just never know where the glue could end up and let’s face it they could be practising their Halloween tricks without you being aware!  For a night time feature you could always hide a few LEDs in amongst the feathers to create a creepier effect.
