Clear 11 inch helium quality latex balloons with a star print - the stars glow in the dark!
The print on these balloons contains glow crystals that absorb and store light energy when exposed to natural or artificial light sources. Once exposed, the crystals release the absorbed energy in the form of visible light, even after the light source has been removed. The glow crystals are best activated by contact with UV rays (black lights, fluorescent lighting and natural sunlight). While the print on the balloons will remain visible in the dark for a number of hours, the length of the glow will depend on a number of variables. For best results and long lasting effect expose the balloons to the brightest UV light source available to you and after the balloons have been inflated. In a decorated environment with black lights left on the balloons will be continually charged to maintain the highest level of glow and will be highly visible in a semi-darkened environment.
These professional quality latex balloons can be air or helium filled and can be inflated to 28 cm (11 inches). When inflated with helium these balloons will last approximately 8-14 hours depending on the climate/conditions. Alternatively they can be inflated with air to last much longer. Made from natural rubber (latex), these balloons are bio-degradable. The price below is the uninflated price. Inflated latex balloons are available for delivery in the Sydney metro area only. Please call our store to order. Please note that there is a minimum purchase quantity for balloon deliveries plus a delivery charge depending on where/when delivery is required. Alternatively this item can be ordered inflated and and collected from our store.
Note that air filled balloons will not float!
The price here is per balloon, uninflated.
Latex balloons with a print can be purchased inflated for $2.25 each, plain coloured latex balloons can be purchased inflated for $1.75 (these prices do not include hi-float).
Being clear these balloons can be "double stuffed". Double stuffing is the process of putting a plain coloured balloon inside of a clear balloon with a specific print to achieve what appears to be a printed balloon. Double stuffing is handy where certain printed balloons are not available in the required colour.
