About Us
The Party People shop has the largest range of party supplies in Australia with more than 10,000 items on range. Our products are sourced from all over the world to make your party or event memorable. We specialise in Balloons, Party Supplies, Themed Parties and Costumes and its our innovative and unique products that makes us the best at what we do.
The Party People are also specialists in decorating. We have won many awards in balloon sculptures, classic decor and table centerpieces over the years. Our senior certified balloon artist trains many of the balloon artists in Australia and around the world so when you use us, you get world class service.
History
The Party People was originally a home based family business. In 1985 the business started trading from its first small shop front in Sans Souci holding kids parties at the back of the store. The Party People grew quickly and it wasnt long before the business expanded into a new double shop front location.
The business started trading on the internet in 1999 and was the first of its kind in Australia online. The business was and is still to this day the largest online party supplies retailer.
In 2009 Hitwise (independent online statistics company) confirmed that the business passed the highest ranking party website (a party directory) as the highest volume party site online in Australia.
Today the business continues to dominate the party industry with Australia's largest range of party supplies distributed all over the world.
